Somewhat surprising for a consumer sensitive company like, but cases are way more than protection -- they are a means of self-expression in a world where every phone looks the same. I don't see phone cases going anywhere. On the other hand, this does not mean apple should ignore the ruggedness of its products so I still applaud the effort to strengthen the glass.
