Musette, you're right. AI cannot replicate the lived human experience. The question is can it get to a close facsimile thereof to satisfy the needs of the bulk media consumption market. Can it get close enough that one human artist supplies the lived experience while the AI does the work of 9 others. Can the remaining 9 artists thus replaced make a living through their art?

While it is correct to defend your craft, you may be fighting the wrong battle here. I think the Hollywood writers did the right thing -- they just contractually demanded that the above scenario does not happen to them. It may be time for musicians and other art guilds to do the same.
