It somewhat depends on your application as well. For example, if all I had to do was build interfaces to a handful Rest API's (for which there's great support in Racket), it's not so much of a problem and I can build the rest of the app using Racket. It becomes more of an issue if the API is complex and that code ends up dominating the app.
