I have reduced my Google searches 90% due to ChatGPT and Perplexity. Clean, summarized outputs, links if you need them. Yes, some hallucinations do come up, but no more than misdirected links. Straight search experience is now starting to feel like a drag. Google's AI summarization is crap right now. I'm sure it will improve but the Google search experience has been deteriorating for a while now and it continues to do so. Will this change in the future? Maybe, but Google is right worry about it. Especially now with Siri becoming the front-end for ChatGPT.
